Let’s be real. Starting a podcast is easy, but maintaining and growing a podcast is hard. Over 50% of podcasts fade out within a year and we know there are inequality barriers to navigate along the path to success.
The Skylark Collective is the go-to sisterhood for women with a vision for their podcast. We see your power and your potential. We want to welcome you, meet you, share ideas and learn from each other. Let’s celebrate together, lift each other up, and open the door to your podcasting potential.

The 2021 awards took place on Thursday 23rd September at Allbright, London, with an international livestream broadcasting the event to a global audience, welcoming guests from as far afield as New Zealand, Mauritius, Dubai and California. It was a spectacular sold-out event hosted by Vick Hope of BBC Radio 1, and has set the bar high for 2022!

We are launching a bursary fund in 2021 to give young women with something to say the financial means to broadcast their ideas.
The Skylark Bursary will offer women aged 16-24 the opportunity to pitch their idea, develop a concept and record their show, with help from experienced and professional women in the podcasting industry. We believe in raising the voices of young women, and aim to showcase new and emerging talent through the bursary fund. Applications will open later in 2021, and details of how to apply will be released via our mailing list.
